One Pan Short

Alone and quilting

Posted by: kewheelock on: June 11, 2010

This next week will be interesting. Matthew and Catlin are going to spend the week with Grandma and Grandpa in Tallahassee and Emily is heading off to Heart Camp ( http://www.boggycreek.org/2006/home.asp ).

So I am not sure what we will do. It has been a long time since we have had no kids in the house. Graig and I will probably go to Barnes and Nobles to use his gift card for coffee, and we may do a picnic. Living on a tight budget makes it hard to do much.

I hope to finish a lot of my quilting projects, or to at least piece the quilts (since I don’t have the filler right now). It will be a relief to get all the projects done so I can make room for more.

I am considering now starting to try and earn some money by quilting. I would focus mainly on baby and lap quilts (36-42″x 56-70″), and making my teething blankets (also called ribbon blankets). This is still up in the air as I have no clue how to get started doing it.

One pan short…

there is always room for one more pan in the kitchen and in the family.

Current Readings

Starting Debbie Macomber's "Fairy Tale Weddings" while I wait to get book one of a series.

Finished Amanda Quick's new Arcane Society Novel "Burning Lamp". She has another book in the series coming out in September. *sigh* Why can't they get the books out faster?

Finished Tracie Petersons "Brides of Gallatin County" Series last week, along with Lisa Jacksons "Without Mercy" and Kim Vogel Sawyer's "Waiting for Summer's Return"
